Start at Cape Town with the Uncover South Africa Nudist SafariTour, stay at naturist/nudist accommodation/resorts for 9 out of the 11 nights and end in Johannesburg after 12 days while meeting other Nudists/Naturists.
Fly to Cape Town and your Naturist accredited Tourist Guide will start this tour by taking you to the most famous attractions and landmarks, and will explain the intriguing but interesting South African history and culture to you while driving in a comfortable and safe air-conditioned vehicle.
Day 1: A trip to Cape Town's most famous icon: Table Mountain by the Aerial Cableway to take in the natural beauty and stunning views. The first botanical garden in the world to be established (in 1913) to protect local flora, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in the UNESCO-listed Cape Floral Kingdom follows. We journey along the False Bay coastline with Chapman’s Drive and to Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town, home to one of the few land-based penguin colonies in the world. Overnight 2 nights at accommodation in Cape Town which is naturist friendly.
A private comfortable house is selected with most amenities like a private pool, an area for sunbathing, etc.
Day 2: A scrumptious breakfast follows a visit to Cape Point, situated within the Table Mountain National Park, with a section of the park referred to as Cape of Good Hope. A visit to Groot Constantia to taste their export quality wines includes a museum and cellar tour. More optional activities available.
Day 3: Moving up the coast, you arrive at a small dairy farm where a naturist clothes-free lifestyle is maintained and where you arrive as strangers and leave as old friends. You will be allowed to participate in farming activities like the milking of cows, etc. A swimming pool and sauna is available, and conversation around a cosy fireplace occurs when it gets colder.
Day 4: A scrumptious breakfast follows a drive to the town of Oudtshoorn in the Karoo with Route 62. This route delivers an unforgettable South African travelling experience. (Lunch en-route) After visiting the Cango Caves for a Heritage Tour, we head down the scenic Outeniqua Pass and onto the green forests and beaches of the Garden Route. You drive to the town of Knysna where you view the Knysna Heads: a pair of sandstone cliffs that separate the Knysna Lagoon from the sea beyond; a famous landmark along the renowned Garden Route and stay here where you have an entire home/apartment for yourself.
(Another option is to stay at Brenton-on-Sea where the beaches are empty most of the time...)
Day 5: A short drive brings us to enjoy a Featherbed Eco Experience at the Featherbed Nature Reserve, including a Ferry ride, Trail, Nature Walk & Buffet Lunch. We discover the town of Knysna and visit some of the unspoilt beaches (and dinner) in the area. You overnight at the same Knysna accommodation. (or similar)
Day 6: Take a boat ride for a “Dolphin/Whale Encounters” excursion to view dolphins/whales when in season and seals from Plettenberg Bay, and then we drive to the Storms River Suspension Bridge, that hangs over the red-brown waters of the Storms River Mouth, it spans 77 metres and remains one of the most popular tourist attractions of the Tsitsikamma National Park. It hangs just seven metres above the churning waters of the river as it enters the foamy Indian Ocean. The walk is well worth the magnificent views. Birds accompany walkers along the way and there are a number of lookout point and places to have a seat and rest, while enjoying the vistas of the turquoise ocean. You stay the night at a hotel in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), close to the airport for the flight on the following day.

Day 7: After experiencing the best of the Cape Province, you fly to Johannesburg and visit the most important museums in Soweto. (A township located on the South-Western side of Johannesburg. It is home to sites of historical importance; as many of the struggles were fought against the injustices of the apartheid.) You stay at a nearby naturist/nudist resort for 2 nights.
Day 8: You enjoy the largest naturist/nudist resort in the country, which borders a Big 5 Game Reserve with entrance just 4km away. A game drive can be arranged on request. Relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and spa area. There is also a well-stocked bar.
Day 9: Breakfast follows the drive to a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. (Approximately 390 kilometers from here). You stay here for 2 nights.
A naturist friendly private comfortable house is selected with most amenities like a private pool, an area for sunbathing, etc.
Day 10: You do Big 5 safari game drives in an open safari jeep/vehicle in the Kruger National Park for an entire day, where you explore every possible opportunity to view the spectacular wildlife scenery. Chances are excellent to spot a variety of some of the estimated number of animals: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dog, Hyena, Elephant, Zebra, Hippopotamus, Warthogs, Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, Kudu, etc.
Day 11: Do a game drive through Kruger National Park in our tour vehicle to a rest camp like Skukuza where you stay over for the last night.
Day 12: On your way back to Johannesburg, we drive to the spectacular Panorama Route with its beautiful waterfalls, see vistas from Wonder View, the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondawels at the Blyde Canyon (largest green canyon in the world). You stay over at a hotel at the OR Tambo International Airport (not incl.), or take your flight home. (Arrive from 6pm)
Optional extra day: A tour to Pretoria, The Cradle of Human Kind or Johannesburg.

- South Africa is a big country of 1,219,912 km2 (471,011 sq mi). On this tour you will be travelling an average of 250 km per day.
- The groups can range from a min. of 4 people to a max. of 6, we may cancel the tour if group is less than 4 people.
A booking requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
The rest of the payment has to be paid 31 days before the tour start.
Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: Amount paid less upfront costs. These upfront costs are disclosed to you when you use the Site to complete the transaction and may represent out of pocket expenses of Amatungulu Tours for tickets, transportation deposits and other additional expenses.
Cancellation 59 to 31 days before departure: 50% of tour price, if paid in full.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the tour: 100% cancellation fee.
